The SSC Property Group is an industrial and commercial property developer based in the Western Cape.

Our History
The SSC Property Group was started more than 50 years ago by Mendi Soffer.
With a resourcefulness and single-mindedness, he built up, virtually from scratch, a major property group.
Although he had very little formal schooling, Mendi taught himself engineering and architecture, and began to design and manufacture his own buildings. He unveiled his first building in Parow in 1961.
At the same time, Mendi widened his entrepreneurial activities to include the manufacturing of gears, wine tanks and other stainless steel products.
Eventually he started buying land as an investment, developing properties on the land, and in some cases, hiring subcontractors to revamp and renovate existing, derelict buildings. He had a great eye for an investment, and a flair and passion for turning decrepit junkyards into flourishing hives of commerce.
The SSC Property Group was born.

We are committed to long-term investment, and actively seek out new development opportunities – including design and build, re-development and refurbishment projects – in the communities where we operate.

A dedicated team works closely with each client, offering highly personalised service, and augmenting, refurbishing, renovating and kitting out properties to suit the specific, and often highly specialised needs of each business.
